not the right forum but will ask anyway, $1000 albino ball too good to pass up?

I know this is the wrong forum but this is the only forum I visit so I figured I would ask here. I have made a new contact and he called me up within the last week and said him and a few buddies were coming together to buy a bulk lot of albino balls for $1000 each and asked me if I wanted to get in and get one. He says I will see the animal before ever handing over any money so I dont think its a scam or else he would want money up front. Well, my dillema is I'm really big into boa morphs right now and have never cared much for balls as I have two normals already and dont like how finnicky they can be. On the one hand, im thinking as I dont care much for them I dont need one but I always like albinos. On the other hand, im thinking a thousand for an albino ball is too good to pass up.I dont think I would ever breed it, would just want it as a cool pet. What does everyone else think, too good to pass up???? thanks... Jon

if nothing is wrong with it...in fact, I would say it is too good to be true. So, look into it before buying.
If everything is ok, then I'm green with envy.

I just met the guy through another contact that I use and he seems to have many contacts and told me whatever I wanted he could find cheaper. I have never met him in person, just over the phone so I dont know much about him. Well, he called me up a few days ago and said he was trying to round up a few people because he could get them cheaper if a few were bought from the contact. He told me they would run 1000 and that I would be able to hold the snake in hand before paying out any money so not to worry about getting ripped off or anything like that. I am debating on calling him up and getting in on it. The worst that could happen is he wouldn't come through and I wouldnt be out anything, although I guess there could be something wrong with the snake that he is not telling me about and if so Im out that way. I guess I'll just call him and get more info... Like I said though Ive never really been into balls that much but then again its an Albino.... at a hell of a lot cheaper then you can find anywhere... what to do, what to do? Jon
