Hi everyone. I am about to purchase a Lyre snake. I have kept a night snake before, and was wondering if I could care for a Lyre in the same way. Also, what size enclosure do you recommend? Do you use lighting? The enclosure that I have planned is in the reptile room, which is always very warm (75-86 Farenheit) and I see no need for additional heat. Any additional suggestions?

Howdy, I have one that I collected about a month ago, after 3 feedings I have it switched to f/t and it resides in a 20gallon long aquarium. I have a 60watt lamp providing a photo period and thats pretty much it. They prefer cooler temps from what I know and are strictly nocturnal so UTH would probably work fine. The temps you stated sound fine too. Great snakes! Is yours a male or female, and what locale is it, if known.
