HET RED AXANTHIC HATCHLINGS! Picture Blitz...

Oz Jun 26, 2005 09:00 PM

Well I ended up hatching my first het red axanthic clutch. When I saw Ralph's Red Axanthic male a few years back I fell in love with the morph. You can't fully appreciate that look until you see it in person. Can't wait to hatch out my own!

The het reds in this clutch are very nice and unmistakeable when side by side with their normal siblings. I'm seeing a color difference in addition to the busy black back pattern. Check them out...

Het Red on the right... normal to the left.

Het Red with normal above...

Nice and clean...

Another...

Cool stuff...

The proud Father....

Thanks for looking...

Can you put a pic of a Red Axanthic, too?

Appreciate it!

How can't people not like het. Reds...They are so dang clean looking...Love the eye-loop pattern and washed out lower sides...When your other clutches of them due to hatch?? Can't wait 'till next season when I'll have the chance to produce some!! I'm still dyin' to see a dang Red Axanthic in person...I'm sure the wow factor is a 100 x's higher in person than in the photos I've seen of them!!

Congrats on the hatchlings! The Het Red Axanthics are hypo Axanthic......as far as colour goes they are inbetween an Axanthic and normal. That should make crosses interesting!

Good looking little guys!

Corey
