Where did you get the hermit crabs? Not the carribean ones but the other ones?

Here is crunch. I just found out that he is not a he, but a she.

Knot Jul 14, 2003 06:15 PM

I got it from the petstore that sells mostly fish. They had them in the same tank as the PP hermies, and they didn't even bother to tell me they are Ecaudorian. Luckily I found out just in time.

That is a nice African plated lizard. I was thinking of getting one, but I got the baby ball instead.

kungfu28181 Jul 14, 2003 09:34 PM

It is a southern alligator lizard.

Knot Jul 14, 2003 10:24 PM

I think you're right...the tail is not very long.

kungfu28181 Jul 15, 2003 10:29 AM

herplvr2004 Jul 15, 2003 03:53 PM

i have those running all over my yard......i live in southern CA

kungfu28181 Jul 15, 2003 03:57 PM

REALLY? They are not very common where I live. Can you catch one for me and give it to me if I pay shipping? I need a male so I can breed them. Males have very triangular heads.

Notice how this is a female.(notice that the head is slender and not as triangular.

herplvr2004 Jul 15, 2003 03:58 PM

where do you live?

herplvr2004 Jul 15, 2003 04:03 PM

i dont think i can....they are hard to catch and I dont have time. I see them in my yard and when i get within 10ft. they run. IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!
