Feeding....Wondering if i feed too much , too little.....

Ok well he is about a little over 4 foot. He is 900 grmas and I feed him 1 medium rat( 150 grams) a week. Is that a good amount. Once he is 5 foot He will get a large reat every 10 days. I just want to make sure I have him going on a good schedule. Thanks all
