How long do Jackson's live? Who is a good breeder of them? Please help me. I am trying to find a good pair. How much can you get out of the babies? Also, how long until I can find homes for them? (After Birth). Thanks in advanced.

I've heard that Jackson's babies are especially hard to raise through those first weeks. Personally, I wouldn't breed for the money...since most adult Jackson's are not all that expensive, you won't get that much for them...especially as babies. Are you prepared to get two seperate setups for a male and female?
Check out the posts about age/life span just below...there are some good links in one of the replies.

...but it sounds like you are going into to this expensive, high maintenance endeavor for all the wrong reasons...to make money. Do ALL your homework before persuing this - out of fairness to the animals.

I don't think you will find many breeders who make any money off chams. They are relatively expensive to set up, breeding is difficult (because husbandry is pretty involved and there are a lot of nutritional unknowns), and they just don't tolerate much disturbance or crowding. The people who breed chams usually make their money some other way so they can support their cham addiction! If you are looking for profit, this isn't the place.

No, I don't want to make money off of them. I have bearded dragons and was sucessfull in breeding them and actually hatching them, now I want to try something a little more difficult.
