i live in NYC and am wondering how to get a permit to keep venomous snakes i think its going to be impossible to obtain but worth a shot

Yes it is....considering NY State is revising the permit system entirely.

Not too mention, Hots were banned in NYC years before the statewide 'Interim' permits went into effect.

FYI, I wouldn't list your burm on here either, as they've been banned in NYC for years and are also, now restricted Statewide. As of now, the only permits that have been issued for 2005 have been Endangered Species Permits(It appears DEC is not changing the regs concerning timber rattlesnakes or massasaugas or crocodilians).
