winter hatchlings

My tegu is 7 months old. thats makes him hatching in like decemberish. If the breeding season is after hibernation how is this possible?

We had Blue Tegus hatch in February and Argentine eggs laid in October. There just ain't nothing etched in stone when it comes to breeding reptiles.
