Well, the Dr Guerrino was really good. He said Hannabil looked good. He looked at her blood work and her xrays and felt her stomach over. He told me a few things....
The lack of recent defecation could be from several things. She could be going through a reproductive cycle, during which she started producing follicles for eggs, but reabsorbed them. (this would also explain her slightly elevated calcium levels)It could also have been from the parasites the first time, and now it could be that i just wasn't feeding her enough to fill her to the pooping point. (I had been slim on the meals the last week or two because i was worried if she didn't poop i might cause more problems by stuffing her)
He suggested i go back to feeding her regularly and giving her warm soaks and light mists to keep up her hydration and try to get her some natural sunlight. After two weeks if she still isn't regular he wants to try a short run of anti-biotics (where WBC count was slightly elevated) in case there is a small internal infection that is causing her trouble.
He also said that her colon wasn't full so at the moment she really didn't have to go, it wasn't as if she was full to bursting or anything.
He also said her bone density was perfect, which made me very pleased!
And maybe its just my mind being at ease but she seems to be acting a bit more like herself since we hasve gotten back. She is basking more and is more alert. No poo yet, but hopefully that will come!
Here are a couple new pictures of her looking perky today!
