Red-tailed green rat available in US?

schwindt14 Jun 27, 2005 06:24 PM

I've always loved these snakes and I've been keeping snakes for years now and think I'm ready for them, the only problem is that they don't seem to be very readily available in the US. I've seen a couple places that offer them but does anyone know of someone who specializes or offers them at a good price? I'd much rather have a CB snake but I would be willing to try wild. I really want to add one(or possibly a pair of these to my collection. Any help would be great!

Imports have been widely available recently. I don't check the classifieds very often but they seem to always be listed.

CB is kind of tough. You can get babies hatched from eggs laid by gravid imports once in a while. Anyone I know who has truely bred this species recently is keeping all of their babies.

Can't say I blame them one bit.
