Night Cruise....

Ryan-reptilian Jun 28, 2005 04:29 AM

Went for a cruise on Sunday night and it started off pretty good. Got to our destination @ about 8:30 pm and within the first 10 minutes we came across a Lyre snake. This was a first for me so I was pretty happy. Next came a night snake about 20 minutes later. I've never seen one with such light coloring as this one had. Then about 20 minutes after that found an adult Glossy. Nothing special but I like these guys as well. About 15 minutes later saw a small shovel nose on a busy hwy and tried to save it but it got nailed right in front of me. That always sucks! It must have cooled off dramatically because we cruised for about 2 more hours without seeing anything else but this scorpion. (not exactly a herp, but I thought it was a cool shot)
Enjoy pics!
