Here it is still in the egg. I had candled a few weeks ago and decided this was a leucistic, but wasn't absolutely positive until I cut.

The first thing I noticed after it came out of the egg was the eyes. They are jet black with bright red pupils. I had seen the red in some photos but just assumed it was a "red eye" photo.

Here is a close up photo of the pupil. It really looks evil!!

Here is the whole clutch. 5 eggs, 1 Leucistic, 3 Fires, 1 Normal.

Pure, pied white, no pattern and not one single yellow scale.

I have dreamed about this day since I got my first Fire. It is better than I had imagined it would be. I will be bringing this little gem to Daytona for everyone to see in person.

I didn't think I'd be as excited about the hatching of the leucistic as I was. But being there and seeing it slither out of the egg and being only 1 of three people to see this snake out of the vermiculite was simply amazing! I have a new appretiation for the FIRE project than I did, but I'm still going to give you a hard time...

It put alot of rumors and speculation to rest, just like we all knew it would.

Now I will do some calling out in fun. WHERE IS YOUR'S AMIR? I can do this since he and I are so chummy down here in Miami. I actually dislike when people start "hating" and show there jealousy instead of shutting their mouth and congratulate the breeder or owner and then start bragging of what they have. What a thread killer. IMO just read the thread and dont post if you dont have nothing good to say. Your momma should have smacked you a little more as a child.

That congrats means a lot coming from you but I don't recall advertising any Leucistics for sale. I advertised Fires and showed what they produce. This project was proven 2 years ago. The rules of genetics are very simple. I can't believe it is so difficult for you guys.

Let me know if you get any Motley Corns produced this year. I hope you don't slug out again. lol.
