A comparison shot, first is from 8-30-04, second is from today.
The female has turned super red and is missing a lot of pattern, but is in shed today.

My wife calls this guy Snowflake. He is very mellow and easy going and beautiful (IMHO). Russell Keys produced him last year.

These are all descendants of Jim Kane's infamous colony. The yearling are from Jonel Lopez and are growing like weeds (close to 3')! The big female is closing in on 5'!

I do remember her then. How fast they grow up. She is probably my favorite Stillwater that I have ever seen. Can't wait to see her in another year.

Man those are pretty bright , like flame thowers.
I heard the Jim Kane's strain of Cape didn't get very big , you mention you had one around 5'.

I put the string to her twice and came up with 53.25", so she's about 7 inches shy of my guess from yesterday. These are the only Cape's I have, so I don't know what a normal size would be for them. I have read everything from 3-6 feet.

I had some Price List from Jim Kane from mid 90's and he had mention they where a small snake around 3' long .At least his line was . I know Stephen Fowler has some huge ones though.

As Paris Hilton would say, "That's hot!" They seem to gleam on the grey back ground. Looking good, looking good

Jonel I will have to pick some more up some day. If you happen to be male heavy some year i have a nice larger sized female that i could mate up with a male of different blood.

Have a good weekend,

Gregg F.

Hey Matt!
Wow did that baby ever color up nice! You can sure see the influence of the young male in him, though he looks more like his mother with the markings on the head, his father has less speckling going on, so it appears his head is white. And it looks like I've got another fantastic clutch of babies this year that will all be high whites. I just keep saying wow! He turned out awesome! Thanks for sharing, I enjoy seeing how the kids turned out. Seems everyone else is happy with their babies as well. I must be doing something right...called having advice from my buddy John Meltzer on how to pick them! That baby turned out even nicer than the male I held back! But that was out of the other female, I did hold back your male's sister, and she also is a screamer. Gorgeous animals all, I love the pics of that first jani, WOW! Take care.

When the female sheds I will get a couple of her up here. She is quite different than him with alot more red and less white and orange. She is also much more reduced pattern.

Matt

I'm loving the color on the 03 hold back. That male's tail looks similar to the 04 abberant female you sent my last year. Her anterior protion of her body is limey yellow and and similar to your hold back her tail turns cream and bugandy. She is growing well and is bigger and thicker than the male at approx 3 feet. Awesome snakes. I missed out on these for a long time before i got the from you. Thanks.
