The problem I see is the nitwits who do the "mine is better" crap. A good illustration is the one answering your poll on the Burmese forum, who wants to reduce it to just giant Pythons. Because of people like that, it probably would be a forum of "clans", each trying to be the "best". When you have that mind-set, you need something to scorn, just as much as something to laud. I was so happy to see the Anaconda forum started, I'd hate to see it strangled as it's just getting started.
The truth is that the giant Boids have much more in common, than they have in differences. Especially in behavior. Most of the dogma about African Rocks, and Anacondas comes from field-collected, or owner traumatized animals. I'm just tired of hearing " Don't confuse me with the facts. My mind is made up."

I don't know,.. that is a lot of speculation. Most of the folks in the other giant snake forums are really good, well rounded people and mature herpers. There is only an occasional troublemaker and they are always shortlived and not tolerated for long. But if you feel strongly against this giant constrictors forum, then I urge you to go there and cast a "Nay" vote against it. I really do want everyone's input, good or bad, for or against. We all count, you know.
