Hey,

I just got 1.1 04' Het-Erythristic Easterns today, product of that awesome Erythristic that BlueKing found a little while back.

They both fed, about 6 hours after I got them. The male ate 1 worm(he would've eaten more), and the female ate 2. I want to try and get them breedable by the 2006 season, possible? I know getting males sexually mature that fast is no problem, but females?

It all depends on the individual snake.I have a melanistic that was 2 1/2 feet in two years.how big are they now?

They are probably about 4" long, 2 weeks old.

The female should be in the 20" range (minimum) w/ good girth to be breedable. The larger the better as far as breeding goes but the 20" would be the minimum size I would try breeding. Males can be breedable in their first Spring, 12" is the breeding size
that I shoot for.

Individuals definitely vary. I have an '04 Oregon female from Scott Felzer that is 28" head-to-tail and very heavy. I also have an '04 Eastern from my own breeding that is still smaller than a pencil. Same diet, same set-up, same temps, yet the big one weighs about 10 times the smaller one. Who knows?

Um, yeah, but you are dealing with 2 different species. So of course they are going to be alot different.
