What type of container do I put dragons in before the shipping box??

jusmebabe Jun 28, 2005 10:41 PM

I'm shipping to adult beardeds to different people. My question is what type of container do most use to place dragon in? The small one is missing most of his tail so his length isn't a problem.
The other has a full tail and measures about15-16 inches. I have the styro lined boxes.
Thanx for any info

I personally haven't shipped any dragons, but mine came in a plastic tupperware type cantainer, in shipping peanuts with styrofoam lining the shipping box.

You might want to check in the forum for shipping (under general topics h-v).

The pet store chain that my wife works at gets them in a plastic container packed in tight. I don't think that sardines would be able to be packed in as tight! And they wonder why they all look and act stressed...

Yea I checked the shipping forum before posting here. I'll just go to Walmart or similar place and look for something there.
Thanx guys.

containers in the right size but first go to a walmart type store and get a small soddering iron. Use a pointed tip to burn some small holes in the container for air exchange. I soften the trip by putting mine in with crunched up paper towels.
I tape the lid on for extra security too.
