Just a story to share.

I wanted to share a story of my supreme stupidity with all of you. I was cleaning my female ball's cage the other night right before bed time and needless to say I forgot to close the lid tight. I awoke the next morning to find my mistake and frantically started tearing my house apart looking for her. After about an hour I finally found her behind the dryer. Needless to say I feel very stupid and somewhat lucky as she had almost squeezed her way out of the dry ducting and I'm sure I would have never found her once she made it outside. I think this is a good lesson learned and I now double and even triple check all of my snakes lids before heading off to bed.

Here's a little thing that happened about two years ago:

I was cleaning my snakes' house and placed them both on my bed, periodically checking them as I was cleaning. After I was done I looked and could only find the male. So, for the next half hour, I was frantically tearing my room apart. For some reason I decided to check my underwear drawer. There she was, happy as can be. Here's a tip too, don't let your snake get near your bicycle, it takes forever to untangle them if they get in the spokes! Aren't snakes great!
