Can I move eggs that are due to hatch?

bmulcahy Jun 29, 2005 12:14 PM

I have a batch of 17 eggs that are at 64 days right now and I have a problem with where they are incubating. They are in my class in a chicken incubator(I had to put in a larger incubator because they were all attached when I found them) at 80-82 degrees. My school will be locked up tomorrow for 4 days and I am afraid they will hatch over that period of time. Can I take them home in my car? Will the bumps mess them up? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

i would leave them ,if anything they will hatch they will stay warm in the ink and be fine this is what i would do, to me better than taking them on a car ride,,, if you do move them be fast and carful and try to take the whole ink unless to big that way when you get home you can plug it back in ,,,
good luck let us no how they turn out
