Weezing?

swani Jul 14, 2003 09:16 PM

I am hearing slight weezing on inhale. ('02) First bath 1-2 months ago and weezed that night only (has never weezed prior to). Second bath last week..fed same day..left alone...and is still weezing. No mucous around nose/mouth although I haven't checked inside his mouth. Only recent changes: Fed adult mice, new viv over weekend...30 gal...If that means anything. Behavior seems to be normal. Should I check inside mouth? Is this a problem? What to do?
THANKS IN ADVANCE
SWAN

If you're sure he's not just trying to be scary, and you're concerned about a possible respitory infection, just raise his ambient temperature a few degrees. It will create an artificial "fever," Then, keep an eye on him. If he gets worse, you'll have to take him to a vet for a course of antibiotics.
