The head bobbing is just one of the behaviors a dragon can display. I believe the head bobbing is a show of dominance, someone correct me if I'm wrong... there's also arm waving, a show of submission, bowing, also more submission, and other things. I believe B22 on this forum has a website that shows her dragon also headbobbing but to music. Kind of neat to watch!

Yeah i think it is dominance to because my beardie does it if someone comes into the room or if he is somewhere new. some people say the femals do it when they are about to mate but for one my beardie is a boy and secondly unless he thinks we are potential mates he hasn't been with another beardie. my friend love me showing them movies of him. there are some good sites with waving and bobbing you should do some searching its worth it.

My male used to head bob at me all the time when he was with my female and the really funny thing is that he wouldn't mate with my female unless I was watching so you never know they might think of you as a possible mate lol.
