Hmm...did they mate?

Hi,

My single female blizzard has been with my male blizzard for about 3, almost 4 days. They're in quite a large cage with multiple hides (although they actually seem to enjoy sharing 1 hide in particular!) When I first introduced them the male did the usual tail shaking and pursuing and the female avoided him a lot but then after a bit she seemed more interested. I watched them carefully in hopes of catching the breeding and to be sure the female wasn't overly harassed (she wasn't...this male is very stoic...awesome personality in a blizzard!) but I failed to witness the breeding (if there was any). At this point the male doesn't pay her much heed...like I mentioned, they actually share one hide and sleep together, seem to be pretty friendly! If the male has lost interest, could it be because they already mated? He seemed plenty interested at first. Any thoughts?

Breeding males are not typically "stoic." If he has bred her, he most likely would not let up on her nor would they be having plutonic living arrangements. They could have mated but my guessd is no. Id seperate them and try again later.
