wanderings not taking worms

i have found out that wandering garters around utah hate worms they hardly eer look at them does anyone know of a time where a wandering took a worm
they love fish

My wanderings suck down worms like crazy.....If you just caught them, they still might be adjusting to captivity.....sometimes they will go a couple weeks without eating... You can go to Petsmart and get rosies to try

Mine won't take worms either,but they love pinkies.

My Wandering garter snakes eat worms, fish, mice, and frogs.
Also one that I caught last year regurgitated a bunch of leaches it had been feeding on.

I put the worms in a small bowl with a little bit of water.
When the worms move around in the water the garter snakes come over to the bowl to investigate and start dining.
You can also try putting worms in a bowl with a couple of fish.

Mice and fish can be easier to feed to wandering garters in my opinion but they are generally more expensive as well.
