Housing recommendations for large amphibian collection

wmerker Jun 30, 2005 01:47 AM

Does anyone have a recommendation for a caging system to streamline a large collection of amphibians (and geckos)? I keep mostly arboreal frogs (Phyllomedusines, Hylids). I am concerned about toxicity of glues and materials used in terrarium construction, so I thought I would ask to see if anyone had any thoughts or could share experiences. Thanks!

PVC is fine glued together as long as you let it cure before putting the animals in the enclosures. If they will be in the same room while it cures make sure there is excellant ventilation.
