Some on this forum would have you believe that breeding BPs is easier than walking. For most, there is a bit of trial and error and it's not as easy as that. However, I do encourage you to try if that's something that interests you. I suggest you look through the archives and learn as much as you can. There is more to breeding than breeding. You need to prepare for eggs, incubate eggs and get the young feeding (not always easy). But if you decide to do it and do it right, you will be rewarded.

Good luck!

The Barker video put me on the yellow brick road in 01.
The Sutherland video is good also, though more detailed.
The pix is 05, my third season breeding this lady.

I would not be intimidated by it. It is not that difficult. There is a ton of friendly people with knowledge that will assist you. In addition, there is a ton of written stuff that is literally step by step info....follow it and you will have eggs.

You have got to do this....you will freak when you see that first clutch. It is addictive!

Have fun.

just wondering because it looks like a cinnamon...or ummm my guess is het caramel...nice snakes by the way....

coldthumb Jul 01, 2005 08:16 AM

The sire was a 50% possible het caramel.
So maybe i'll get lucky eventually

One of them looks very different than the others too(it is kinda orangish, with no squiggles).I'll get a group pic of them all to post soon.

Here is the one with the most of those squiggle looking marks to it.

Mom n dad

I hope to prove moms color this nesxt season (with the hatchling male pictured above).
