Why is he doing this?

Langi Jul 14, 2003 09:59 PM

My corn has been soaking for a long time. I'm not really suprised because it was really hot in my room but now I've got an air conditioner and his tank is a nice 84 but he is still soaking. Could he be dehidrated? I've been misting all my herps so Im not sure whats up.

84 is still way too hot. The ambient temperature should be 74-78 degrees, and the basking spot should be 82-88 degrees. He is either still too hot or you have a mite infestation, but I think he is too hot.

He may be trying to cool off...or he may just like it lots!! LOL! Some snakes like to soak for days. That's normal.

Is it in shed. That would explain it.
