Today my anery cornsnake died. He broke his neck. It was pretty bad looking. I'm so sad.

sorry to hear that man, but how in the world your snake break its neck?

Well my theory is, he was trying to escape (very typical of him), and his head got stuck in betwwen the terrarium and the metal lid. He couldn't get it out. After that I assume he was jerking back and forth and well.... snap. I found him later that day like that. I got him loose, and he could still crawl around a little (very sad to watch) for about an hour but his head was at almost a complete right angle from his body. Then.... he died.
Hell, I'm sorry. Poor little guy. 
But I'm grateful for the warning. Going to see if I can further Murphy-proof my enclosures now.
