I typically feed my adult male Chinese WD two small mice and about 30 large superworms a week. It costs me about five bucks, yet it would be much less expensive if I bulk ordered the superworms. I usually do one mouse on first day of week, another on third, about 15 supers on fifth and another 15 on the seventh.I'm sure other dragon keepers feed their males more, but I've found this amount is perfect for my animal.

crickets and regular mealworms are no good for adult waterdragons, stick to superworms(zoophobas) and other insects mentioned above. I feed mine 2-3 fuzzy to hopper sized mice once a week, and insects occasionally.
