You know you're a herper if. . .

your snake hoisting a few doesn't phase you. One of my custom cages has one top and one bottom 6'x3'x3'enclosure. As I was putting my 7 ft. male BCI back in the top enclosure I thought, "Those rats must've been hefty--he weighs a ton!".

Imagine my surprise to find my boa's tail securely wrapped around a six pack of beer from a stack next to his feeding box! One can was missing, and he had the plastic ring well in tail. I had the hardest time convincing him to let it go. He simply slid into his enclosure, dragging the cans with him. I had to switch on an extra heat lamp on the other end of the enclosure to entice him away from it. I guess he decided to choose digestion over inibriation!(LOL)
