Hello!

Hello...I wanted to introduce myself. I'm the proud new owner of three baby Gulf Coast Box Turtles. They are spending the summer on my patio while I get their winter quarters ready.
They have a deep three-sided box full of wet moss in which to hide to "beat the heat". It is in the shade, so it stays very cool (65-70 degrees on a 100 degree day...not bad!). Plus I've given them various caves and shoe boxes for hiding. Oh, and a nice deep saucer for water.
They seem pretty happy out there!
Eric
