Did the genetics of the black and white ball ever prove to be genetic?

I have a male Pastel 100% HET B&W Im breedign back to mom for this upcoming season if he has the size......so 06 is the year...

Pastel black and white. I wonder what it's going to look like? With ball pythons these days, it's gonna be incredible for sure.
