does anyone use bend-a-vine?

lele Jul 01, 2005 05:05 PM

I have one that has never been used. It is 6' x 5/8" I got it for my cham, but the one she has is sufficient. I am wondering if it is wide enough for a dragon? Anyone use them in your setup? can you post (or direct me) to pics?

I do. Don't know if you remember...but I posted a pic of Chiquita's tank a while ago that had it. It's great...it really increases space and bd's seem to love climbing it. I'm not sure if that size is ok or not. You want to make sure that it's strong enough to hold him, but basically if he fits on it, he'll hold on. I use one that's over an inch in 'Quita's tank and a little less than an inch in Layne's...but it's kind of weaved around itself...here's a pic. Oh...and my bd's like both stone and wood....though the stone holds the heat much better.

What does friend mean to you?
A word so wrongfully abused
Are you like me, confused
All included but you

Pupils widen and change their hue
Rapid brown avoid clear blue
Why’s it have to be this way?
Be this way

A child sings an unclaimed tune
Innocence spins cold cocoon

thanks! Don't recall this pic (sooooo many get posted here!- so thanks for posting again Good idea to increase width by winding around itself.

When he was smaller, Darwin would always be on his rock, but now seems to prefer wood. I put a new piece of wood along with his old rock and he chose the wood. Maybe b/c it is new, but it will be fun to see how his prefs develop. This is 75 gal. so I have lots of room to play! Will post pics tomorrow once he has spent a night in it and christened it with poop - that's what will make me rethink some things I am sure! lol!!
