Where are they?

Does anyone here know where I can get some banded geckos?
I can't seem to find a source of Central Americans. They are never on the classifieds!

I'm interested too...I can never find quality breeders with C.A. Bandeds. I do know a fantastic breeder with Desert Bandeds, but I'm looking for female Central Americans!

Yeah, I have 7 desert banded, and am working on a albino/pastel line (looks pretty weird). The are very prolific and I have 4 eggs in the incubator! Yay! I have a pair of Central American Banded geckos, but am interested in aquiring more. What species do you keep?

I would love to see the results of your breeding project...that sounds pretty awesome! Are they Coleonyx variegatus variegatus?

I've just got one Central American (Coleonyx mitratus) right now...a male. I've been looking for a female for him for a while now....just haven't found many/the right one. Maybe if you send me a female, I can send you like 12 little ones, LOL

I've NEVER seen an albino Central American Banded, but I guess they must exist, right??

What's the deal with inter-subspecies breeding? I heard about a successful pairing of a Coleonyx brevis and a Coleonyx variegatus in the 80's that resulted in eggs that hatched...is this for real?!

Yeah they are pretty weird looking.

I have one coleonyx variegatus variegatus female that looks like she has been lightly dusted with calcium, and a males that has purple bands, instead of brown, and 1 male that is purplelish and has THIN yellow bands. both males sport silver eyes. They are crazy! No eggs from these 3 weirdos yet, but the male with purple bands has been trying to mount the light female.

I never heard of intraspecies of breeding but the subspecies breeding are driving me crazy!

I have seen a leucistic ca banded gecko

my female is very thin, I rescued her from a bad pet shop, but she will be ready to breed with my HUGE male next year!lol

Do you know of a legal way to obtain C. reticulatus and switaki?

Its funny you ask that...I've got a related post in another forum and instead of attracting anyone knowledable about LEGAL trade of threatened animals, I've got replies misinformed ethics mongers that have no idea what they're talking about.

I'll let you know if any sane people reply to my other post...
