lbk4680 Jul 02, 2005 03:16 AM

Hi,

when I try to incubate them, always attracts little flies(look like fruit flies), and a bit of foul smell.

All depends, how are you incubating them? My females first clutch that she laid became dented in at the top and i presumed they were infertile being the first. The next 2 should be fertile though. Check out my site for more info etc.

DO YOU HAVE AN INCUBATOR LIKE A HOVABATOR?

lbk4680 Jul 03, 2005 12:35 AM

No I don't have one, I'm a novice, I didnt invest in one. Temperature and humidity is steady though.

Well there is your answer right there....

You need an incubator.... The outside or room temps are not steady enough to incubate leo eggs.... It might work for North American colubrids but not for Middle Eastern geckos....

You should have never bred your leos if you did not have ALL of the equipment needed....

You need to buy an incubator and go to Albeys web site to get good incubation instructions....
