This is my clutch from my Hatteras female who could not find a good place to lay eggs. She rubbed her snout raw as she was looking and looking. Finally, I put a cover on her nesting box and she laid all 11 in just a couple of hours.
5 went bad immediately. This egg almost got pulled out and tossed into the trashcan about 4 weeks ago. Glad I gave the little guy (or gal) a chance. Check out all of the mold on the egg.
Four have pipped and I hope the other two will today as well.
