I went to that stream I caught the "Handsome Juvy Snapper" and guess what? He's still there! I just saw him today in the stream. He buried himself under the mud when he saw me, but only a little bit. I was so happy to see him again.

I sure hope youre not holding that snapping turtle by the tail. You can cause serious spinal damages that way. Its ok to hold onto the tail, but put your hand underneath the shell to support the body weight. Common snappers can bring their head about half way up the back of their shell, but dont have the same flexibility underneath. You will get a handful of claws, so you may want to get some decent gloves.
