hi i have a few questions on marine toads. first i have heard you can train them to eat dog or cat food? is this a good diet for them,or do u mix it up with other things? such as crickets etc. also i have heard that a 20 gallon is good for one adult? any truth to this? lastly can anyone post picks of their toads?i really want one, its just a matter of talking the wife into it hehe. thnx

I read that they can be trained to take cat and dog food, but, I also read that cat and dog food were rather fattening so you might want to use it only as a treat. I think a 20 would be fine (the larger the better). I've heard of people giving their toads the run of the house, but I don't see how they do this and maintain a healthy toad. Toads injest things through their skin, so I could imagine it would be quite dangerous to risk exposure to any number of household chemicals by letting them roam free.
