That's a beautiful floridana! I'm new to this forum and I had a couple of questions for you. I bought a LATE '04, probably early '05 Blotched Florida King about a week and a half ago. It's about 4 or 5 months old (already 20 inches long!), and I noticed 3 days ago that his eyes are becoming cloudy and so is his head, but his body isn't THAT dull. It's a little dull, but not bad at all. He's also not as active as he was before. I'm HOPING that he's going to shed, but I fed him yesterday and he ate 3 pinkies, so his appetite was definitely there. I thought they didn't eat before they shed though?? I hope he's not sick, I hope he's just in his pre-shed phase, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I have many snakes in my collection that don't mind eating while in the blue.
If your snake has good weight and is feeding good then he's prolly not sick.
