One of our park rangers risked life & limb to thread her way thru the thorny tangle....& poke the primitive Sony mavica into the face of certain doom...

Things fire wise are settling down....I wouldnt put alot of stock in reports like youre apparently hearing...
Like yours...our tortugas are pretty far down in shelters right now, so they likely are largely unscathed....but ours know rain is on its way
Hopefully the fire killed a bunch of exotic brome & mustard seed....& the tugas can get back to finding & eating the right stuff.
Ill try to call you for the umpteenth (3rd!) time tonite or tommorow

Im so lame with phone stuff! Sorry! We are home now, too dang hot down there, even at the top of Kitt Peak! Road temp at 930 was over 80 degrees, WAY too warm for anything to move I should have known but its been a few months since I was there and I couldnt stand it anymore, I HAD TO SEE SOME SAGUAROS!LOL
I WILL call you tomorrow morning for sure!
