Time to Lay eggs?

sandolar7 Jul 03, 2005 05:19 PM

I have a pair of flavirufus that are doing the "wild thing" today. Does anyone know how long it will be, before the female lays her eggs?
Thanks!
John

if your female is cycleing and flavis are like argus then about 25 to 35 days.just make sure you get the nest spot ready ahead of time.

OK, I have them in a cage with beach sand. If I get the sand at one end of the cage wet, is that good enough, or do I need to get a box with substrate/sand mix??
Thanks for your help..
John
