Any information on what food items would be the best for crickets as a gut load. Any power foods recommended would also be appreciated. I found that most of the tree frogs dont seem to be intrigued enough for wax worms or mealworms. JERRY

Try feeding the crickets apple slices or dry dog food. Also, if that doesn't work, they sell pre-made gutloading cricket food at the petstore, but sometimes it can get expensive.

I feed different items. My favorites are raw carrots, flake fish food, orange slices, and leafy greens. I tend to feed what I have laying around but carrots are my favorite since they don't make alot of mess.
Check out wildeyereptiles.com. They have a very nutritious gutload.
I too feed leftover vegetables/greens. I have a tortoise, and I usually cut the leafy parts off for him and the bottom base of the plant is still left, so I put that in the cricket tank. Heather told me about oranges a while back, so I tried those adn they work great. The crickets eat them fast, leave a hard orange peel, and it makes it smell better as well. I also put in the occasional cucumber slice, because they are high in moisture levels.

I have also been using bee pollen. It's supposed to be very nutritious.
