I think I chose the healthiest specimen the petshop had. It looks alert and curious and I see no sign of illness or parasites. It's supposed to come from a breeding farm.

I'm used to my King Snake's very gracious way of moving. Basically by making the whole body slide exactly where the head first passed. In comparaison, this Python seems a bit clumsy. It moves by sliding and bending its body forward. Is it normal?
