Anyone tried freezing mulch instead of baking it to kill the little bugs?

Anyone tried freezing mulch instead of baking it to kill the little bugs?
Freezing to temps that you might have in a household freezer would notbe cold enough. I use mine straight out of the bag and have never had a problem with insects.

Not cold enough? Really? I would have thought it would be. Thanks for replying and saving me a mess in my freezer 
Freezing would probably kill all the bugs just not all the eggs and spores.
