Veiled Or Panther Chameleon?

Clydester Jul 04, 2005 11:33 AM

I have owned veileds before and I've heard that panther chameleons are easier to take care of. Is this true?

Hi-

Here is a quick care sheet, the two are just about equal. You just get so many more colors to choose from with Panthers! CLICK HERE

in that they need less humid conditions. Balancing the right humidity without going overboard and causing bacteria problems can be tricky.
I prefer the temperament of most of my Panthers to my veileds and like the color choices of the Panthers but I do consider the Veiled just a bit easier, though I don't consider the differences to be dramatic.
I also think Panthers are less tolerant of mistakes such as over supplementation with vitamins and calcium.
