Okay! Okay! (last message for today - I promise!)...

Just a word about safe handling of large constrictors - or, actually, ANY handling.

(keep in mind, there were obviously two people here while this was happening - as I was there too (taking the photos...) - safety first).

Some people are very adept at handling large boids - some need practice. Then again, sometimes it is just very difficult to make something 12' long, acting on it's own volition, do what YOU want IT to do (ie, pose for a photo...).

So, my girlfriend gave it a try, as I stood by the wayside, camera in hand, waiting for that one good shot. I asked her if she could 'persuade' him to lay on the chair - and she tried, and tried, and tried... as you can see:

It was actually a lot of fun.

Thanks for looking,
- Mark

That MUST be it because every time I take out my 11ft Rock out, he goes crazy and gives me hell when I try to bring him back inside. He's only 18 months old and 11ft. Its gonna be fun when he's a few years older and a few hundred pounds heavier!
