Has anyone worked with Dry Ice to keep Mice frozen? I have a local store where i can get Dry Ice at $.89 a lb. and i was wondering if i could use this, even if it was temporary...

Oh, it would certainly work and it's what shippers use to keep mice frozen. I'd use a styrofoam cooler with the thickest walls I could get or, perhaps line a styrofoam cooler that has thinner walls with insulating foam. Make sure the cooler is kept in a well ventilated area.

But, even if you only used a pound of dry ice per day, it would be a fairly expensive long term solution.

Why not just stick them in the freezer?????

Many of the major rodent suppliers use dry ice to ship frozen rodents. It works well on over-night shipments and keeps all frozen. Since you have a source close and at a decent price, it sounds like it will work for you!
