Hi
I want to know what i can do to treat some branches before i put them into my new crestie enclosure. I understand that there can be lice/ mites in wood that could possibly infect my little'uns. any info would be greatly appreciated

I used to do this for my anoles...
1) soak in 10% bleach, 90% water in the bathtub (or other suitable place)
2) Bake the wood pieces in the over @ 400 degrees for 15 minutes or so....or even at a lower heat until dry
I used to skip the bleach step and just bake the branches. I tried microwaving them once and I'll just say that the kitchen smelled REALLY weird for days!!
