Going to purchase 1.1 Knoblochi, anyone familiar with them...more..

I am absolutely in love with Tarahumara mountain kingsnakes. After a couple weeks of strong consideration, I have decided to purchase a pair of hatchlings. I am probably about to put a deposit down on 1.1 hatchlings from different clutches bred by Tad Fitzgerald from www.captivebred.com. They should be hatching any day now, and he would ship them to me in a couple months. I would really appreciate if someone who is more familiar with mountain kings would check out his stock and give an honest opinion of his snakes. http://www.captivebred.com/Tarahumara mt kingsnake.htm. Also does anyone know Tad, or know of experiences doing business with him?

I looked at their knob parents, and they look pretty nice. I got my pair from Paul Weaver at Carolina Herps. Knoblochis are awesome! Make sure their eating pinkies before shipped. I don not know anything about the breeder, but his snakens look nice. Derek

These are very common on the market right now. If you keep checking the classifieds you will probably find a yearling or older pair in less time than waiting for the '05 neonates. I just saw an adult breeding pair on KS classifieds a couple weeks ago that was very nice. Prices are very competative on knobs right now because the market is flooded.

Also a yearling or adults are well started feeders and you cut you time down to your breeding year.

Always chack around before purchasing anything. It never hurts.

there's some beauties on the classifieds now. I'm pumped, those are some of the most beautiful snakes. My girlfriend is gonna start breeding her corns next spring. Listening to her make plans really got my urge to start keeping herps going again. I'll be sure to post pics of whatever I get.

Thanx alot.
