A little bummed out..

Remember the pic I posted of my new hypo orange/pastal X hypo pastel. The second day I had her I noticed that on her hand her middle finger was missing. I contacted the breeders and they said it was an abrasion and superficial. I beleive it was misrepresentation on their part for not telling me the dragon was nipped. I asked them if it was checked before shipping and they got defensive. Of course we check all dragons before shipping. On their page it clearly states that no dragon under 7 inches would be shipped. I got her at almost 5 1/2 inches and 6 grams. Incredable small. They stated that that was the one I picked. They only showed me two dragons to choose from so that means I had a 50 50 chance of picking the nipped one. They call themselves repuital breeders. In the pic no arms were showing could they have sent me a no armed dragon and say well thats the one you picked. I'm really upset about this, but this is not the place to bring their company name out in the open. There is a place for that and if this problem is not rectavied you will find it there.

i can understand, i had the same thing happen to me with my new baby, he arrived well under the 7 inches stated (more like almost 5 inches) and with a nipped tail which has since healed and fallen off, i would say hes missing about an inch. There is no way i could send him back because of this as im already attached and although the breeder says he packed him personally and didnt see a nip im just not sure, to me it was visible right away, not having that long thin baby tail. Anyhow, know how ya feel, let us know how it works out.....
