Nearly all balls fast at one time or another. But, it's not stressful if you realize it's just part of their normal behavior pattern. They key is to get a healthy, captive bred, feeding speciimen to begin with. Then, just be sure and provide all basic husbandry requirements. Your ball will prob still go off feed - but it will eat again when it's ready.
