HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN < CRICKET GUTLOAD >

IF ANYONE HAS A GOOD RECIPE FOR CRICKET GUTLOAD, I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HOW OTHER PEOPLE GET AROUND BUYING THAT FIVE DOLLAR STUFF AT THE PET STORE THANK YOU AND WILL BE WAITING FOR REPLYS,

Its actually really easy....just pick a few things out of the many that are good to include in a "gutload" and mix them all together! Choose whichever are easiest for you to get...

Here are some:

Rolled oats
Red bran
Wheat bran
Tropical fish flakes (a good brand...not tetra or wardly)
Spirulina flakes
Wheat Germ
Barely
Baby Rice Cereal
Bee Pollen
Kelp
12grain cereal

Pick at least two or three of these ingredients (or all of them if you want!), or you can buy different ones each time to keep the variety. Mix them all together and store it in an air tight container. Its much much cheaper than buying the commericially prepared stuff and essentially the same thing.

I also add a variety of fresh veggies for my crickets just to give them a little something extra (they are, afterall, going to be fed to my babies!!!!) Any of the following veggies are good to give:

collard greens, dandelion greens, mustard greens, carrots, endive, escarole etc....
